Dear TOTE Customers,

I want to thank each of you for your understanding, flexibility, and support during our unexpected vessel outage of MV North Star. 

On Saturday May 25th the MV North Star experienced technical issues with the propulsion systems. After an assessment by the crew, it was determined the vessel would have to return to Tacoma to complete repairs. Our priorities as always are the safety of our team and the communities we serve. Thankfully, there were no injuries and there was no impact to the surrounding environment.

MV North Star is currently at the pier in Tacoma, the crew and technical team have finished repairs and the ship is prepared to sail on Friday, June 7th. 

I want to thank our customers, partners and employees for your support as we work towards normal, reliable operations. It is our privilege to serve as your carrier in the Alaskan market.
